QuickShift has been completely re-written from the ground up. Version 2.0 is essentially an entirely separate application, bearing only superficial resemblance to the original version. It introduces a slew of new features, has substantially improved response time to keyboard presses, and corrects the many, many mistakes I made with the first version. :) As this is a beta release, Bugs are Expected To Appear but I plan on squashing those as quickly as they come up. Installations of the beta version will expire 90 days after first run. By the time that happens, a non-beta will be available.

• Bug Fix: Corrected problem which prevented custom keyboard shortcuts from being saved.

• Bug Fixes:
  • Corrected problem which caused an invalid upgrade prompt to appear.
  • Corrected problem where if (1) fading was enabled and (2) an “unfadable” window was moved (such as a command window), an erroneous error message appeared.
