Excel LaunchPad Release Notes
January 29, 2012
Version 2.2
Bug Fix: The font for the reminder window renders slightly larger on some machines than intended, causing an error. Now the font will be automatically resized to fit into the window.
Bug Fix: Local error logging was failing on some machines due to insufficient permissions. The log directory has been changed to one that does not require admin rights.
Bug Fix: On a small number of machines (read: only one that I know of), a corrupted registry entry prohibited notification balloons from appearing, which indirectly blocked LaunchPad from terminating. I introduced a safeguard which terminates LaunchPad immediately if a notification balloon fails to appear.

Version 1.4
Several more minor bug fixes. This should be the last update for a while. (Famous last words, right?)

Version 1.3
Fixed a bug which prevented Excel 2000 users from enjoying EIL.
Fixed a problem where users running English versions of Excel in non-English locales couldn’t use EIL. (Hopefully! We’ll see if this error drops off my radar with this update.)
Now when EIL fails, you’ll get a more specific reason why it failed.
